street style

lavender sunset

skirt: Anthropologie, top: Madewell, sweater: c/o Sears, purse: Carlos Falchi for Target, boots: Frye, Necklaces: Stella & Dot, JCrew, vintage

I’m finding all kinds of new ways to wear my favorite Summer maxi skirts (this one I wore in NYC with a tank in 90 degree heat- seen here) as we head into winter. Can you believe how dark it is getting so early? When taking these pictures my photographer and I literally experienced the sun setting on us in a span of 20 minutes in what seemed like the afternoon. Winter, she comes…even in California.

70s romance

This post is actually a sneak peek of a recent project I was apart of with Sears. Believe it or not, this is me making kute with the Kardashian Kollection for Sears.  I chose to bypass the Khloe-style leopard jumpsuits for something a little more Kourtney, an little more 70s romance. A little lace, a little satin, a little faux fur. Pretty cute, right? More about this project to come! Happy Monday! xx

sweatered up

Sweater: Line Knitwear, skirt: F21, top: from personal archives, boots: Frye, nail polish: Essie ‘Carry On’, green bracelet and amulet necklace: c/o BaubleBar

It’s officially sweater season here in San Francisco and I’m totally kind of excited. I just got this soft pointelle knit chunky cardigan and I have been throwing it over everything for a dash of cozy. Even things that it may look weird with, just because I love it so (we all do that, right?!). For this outfit I mixed it up with a lingerie-inspired satin top and a olive green maxi skirt – because, you know, as Rachel Zoe say in this weekend’s ‘Who What Wear’ – you should be wearing your maxi skirts into Fall. And so I am. Cheers to another week! xx

casual friday

Faux Fur vest, jacket & cords: Gap, top & shoes: BR, tassel coin necklace: All Saints

I have been wearing my new faux fur vest inside of my year round favorite military jacket to make it feel new and fresh (and also warmer) lately. Kinda obsessed with the combo. As an added bonus, I have perfected my fishtail braid skills (slightly hard to see in these pics, but I promise, they’re good)! Go me! And yes I am totally aware I look like I just jumped out of a Gap ad here. Sometimes hard to avoid in my situation, especially on a cozy cords and tee Friday. This is me owning it. Happy weekend all! xx

black + leather

tee: c/o StyleMint, skirt: ebay find (similar here), shoes: BR, purse: Kooba, bracelets: BR, Tiffany, c/o Baublebar

This outfit has me channeling Rachel Greene in her ‘Ralph Lauren’ days, dontcha think? That’s kind of what I was going for with this all-black tee and leather pencil skirted look for a day at the office. Black leather anything – I can’t enough. And I love taking it away from edgy into classic chic. Unexpected a bit.
