While out about about in Bernal Heights in SF yesterday, my BFF and I discovered this adorable neon limey yellow classic vintage Mini Cooper just hanging out in the street. We were instantly obsessed and in love and this photo session was born. I have always loved Minis ever since The Italian Job but this vintage one is just too cool. I can imagine Sean Connery as James Bond driving one in the late 60s, can’t you?
On Monday I am leaving on a tropical getaway to Costa Rica with 3 of my best girlfriends for 10 days. I couldn’t be more excited for our little adventure. We will be spending most of our time in the beach town of Esterillos Este on the Central Pacific Coast and then venturing out from there. I cannot wait for long days spent at the beach, surf lessons, fresh mangoes, tropical flowers, dining alfresco and hikes deep into the jungle.
Above is a little bit of what is inspiring my packing list. Packing for a tropical getaway is kind of tons of fun. As I’m thinking about what I will want to wear, I’m sort of imagining that I’ll be living in a Free People catalog for 10 days. They’re always so dreamy and romantic and seem to instill serious Wanderlust in me. Bring on the sunscreen and bug spray and let the wandering begin…

If you haven’t stopped by online jewelry treasure trove, BaubleBar, to take a looksy, then you’re missing out. It’s a gem and jewel-lover’s dream come true! I was lucky enough to get to stop by their headquarters and meet the team and play with jewels when I was in NY. Too fun! All the girls are super sweet and seriously know what they’re doing. Check out my fav pieces from their current collection of bib necklaces and pendants, bangles and cuffs, cocktail rings and chandelier earrings above (they get new stuff every week!)
And look at that, they love me too! Baublebar made me their latest blogger crush! (I’m blushing…)
one of my current favorite bauble bar pieces – my black & gold cuff bracelet, which makes me feel very ‘Xena: Warrior Princess’ (not avail anymore online – but similar style here)
