pep-lum rally

H&M peplum top (sim here), American Apparel pencil skirt, Zara shoes, Rebecca Minkoff purse, House of Harlow sunglasses

I love me a peplum and I love me these new neon + snakeskin Zara heels. That is all.

stars // stripes

Equipment blouse, Anthropologie pants

I may or may not be wearing pajama/lounge pants out in real life. Okay that’s more on the side of ‘may’. But I think I’m totally making it work. Judge away.

in floral land

Jason Wu for Target dress, BR cardigan, Rebecca Minkoff purse, Frye boots, Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses, Cover Girl ‘Divine’ Lip Perfection lipstick

Wonder Girl does ‘Who Wore It Better?’ Me vs. Michelle Obama (here)

I say it’s a tie. Me, well I wore mine slightly less conservatively (she’s the First Lady after all, I am not). I actually ended up buying this dress in an extra large because it was the only one left and decided to make it work by belting and blouson-ing the whole thing, turning the skirt into a short, flirty mini. Me and Mrs. Obama both swapped out the belt that came with the dress for our own (cheap plastic belts suck) and wrapped ourselves up in cozy cardigans. I love this fun floral print Jason did for Target and know I will be wearing this from now all the way through Summer.

empire

J. Crew sweater, vintage slip dresses and stole, old jeweled shoes, Marc by Marc Jacobs leopard clutch, TopShop earrings, M by MJ watch, BR, J.Crew, Tiffany, Chan Luu, Baublebar & F21 bracelets, vintage ring

A second look from my photoshoot with Sarah Deragon. This outfit was sort of my ode to ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and 20s boudoir chic. I have a collection of vintage slip dresses I have collected over the years and I couldn’t resist pulling a couple of my favorites out for this shoot. A slew of art deco jewelry, my favorite glamorous fur and magenta lips solidified the look.

Many of you have asked about my hair and makeup in these two posts, so I am planning on doing a roundup of all my favorite products soon. xx
